Innovia Films New Range of Encore Films are Awarded ISCC Plus Certification

Innovia Films achieves ISCC Plus Certification at their Wigton Site for their new range of Encore films. ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) is an independent multi-stakeholder organisation providing a globally applicable certification system for the sustainability of raw materials and products.

Over the past six months they have been through a process with the aim of achieving ISCC certification at the Wigton Site, this has involved a lot of work within the Procurement, R&D and IMS teams to both prepare for and execute the audit process.

This is a key first step in the introduction of their new range of films that they are calling Encore, by having this certification this allows them to demonstrate to their customers an independently validated chain of custody in the use of both renewable and recycled raw materials.
