Technical Services & Application Development (TS & AD) Co-ordinator


Innovia Films is a leading global manufacturer of Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) films, supplying highly differentiated speciality products into the packaging, labels, tobacco overwrap and securities markets.

We are looking to appoint a TSAD Co-ordinator to join the team. This position is based in Wigton, Cumbria (although there should be a willingness to travel alongside TSAD colleagues).

You will be providing a high level of technical knowledge and assisting to maximise customer service whilst minimising complaints. There will also be a requirement to utilise SAP, so a good understanding of this software would be desirable, although full training will be given.

Working as part of a project team, this role would offer support and direction to facilitate the development of new products and / or establish current products in new market applications, aiding business growth.

The successful candidate will be part of the broader Global Sales and Marketing Team and will act as an important link between Sales, R&D and Production.
You will be a dynamic, self-motivated individual with a scientific, engineering or production background.

Other important attributes include:
  • Previous experience in the film/packaging industry in a technical or production role
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent
  • Good understanding of SAP and other software packages
  • Commercially aware
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Enthusiastic and positive, displaying a drive and commitment to succeed and able to build strong working relationships both inside and outside the organisation
